Policies
RESERVATIONS...
Reservations must be paid in full to be guaranteed.
All Confirmed rental reservations are non-refundable.
No refunds on early returns.
No Pro-rations on daily rates (full day rate applies).
Late returns will be charged 150% of rate per day late.
All rental rates are in US Dollars.
PAYMENT METHODS...
We accept the following methods of payment:
PICK-UP & RETURN...

Motorcycles are to be picked up at the designated rental location

Weekend rentals are (3 days) Saturday thru Monday

We do not offer returns on Sundays of Mondays as the dealership is closed.

All weekend rentals are due back on Tuesday morning by 9:00 A.M.

Motorcycles are to be returned to the rental location where they were originally picked up. Failure to return the motorcycle to the original rental location will result in a minimum transportation charge of $500.00.
CUSTOMER ORIENTATON...
Every customer will receive orientation to the motorcycle. The customer orientation will cover all aspects of safe motorcycle operation, test ride, maintenance responsibilities, safety check, local and state laws.
HELMETS...
Helmets are NOT provided. Customers are required to bring their own helmets to ensure proper fit, comfort and safety. Helmets are available for sale at the store.
MOTORCYCLE SUBSTITUTIONS...
Lonestar Motorcycle Rentals of Texas reserves the right to substitute the motorcycle confirmed to rental customer. Should Lonestar Motorcycle Rentals of Texas not be able to provide the confirmed motorcycle a similar or better model will be provided to the customer. This constitutes the maximum liability of Lonestar Motorcycle Rentals of Texas.
FUEL & OIL...
Fuel and oil are the customer’s responsibility. Fuel required for use in ALL of our motorcycles is HIGH Octane 93%
MILEAGE...
The rental rate includes unlimited mileage.
MAINTENANCE RESPONSIBILITY…
The customer is responsible for checking engine oil levels at each refueling and reporting all mechanical failures immediately. Instructions and procedures for maintenance expense reimbursement are provided at pick-up. Customers may be held responsible for mechanical damage due to negligence in motorcycle operation or failure to provide normal maintenance.
AGE/DRIVER REQUIREMENTS. . .

Driver must be 25 years of age or older

Driver must posses a current, valid drivers license with a motorcycle endorsement that qualifies the holder to operate a motorcycle in the country of origin. We accept all driver licenses issued by any country as long it is endorsed for motorcycle; GERMAN 1A Licenses are accepted.
RESTRICTIONS…
Violation of listed restrictions voids all insurance coverage and the customer will be held liable for ALL damages and/or theft.
Passenger: Operation or use with a passenger is NOT allowed at any time, unless the passenger has signed a liability waiver at the time of rental and same is on file with the rental company; then and ONLY then may that particular passenger, and NO other, ride on the motorcycle with the driver.
Road Restriction: Operation or use "OFF ROAD" or on gravel roads, beaches, "logging" or any other non-paved or non-public road is strictly prohibited.
Racing: Operation or use in any manner or type of racing or performance event, street, track or otherwise is strictly prohibited.
Mexico Restriction: Operation or use in Mexico or outside the United States, even temporarily is strictly prohibited. Doing so VOIDS ALL insurance coverage and the motorcycle is 100% the liability of the customer.
SECURITY DEPOSITS…
A security deposit for the FULL amount of the rental will be taken at pick-up (Authorization Only). Security deposit must be processed via a credit card or traveler checks.
Late returns beyond the due date will be charged at 150% of the daily rate, per day late.
No refunds or pro-rationns on early returns or daily rate.
ADDITIONAL DRIVERS…
No other driver other than the approved renter is allowed to operate the motorcycle.
INSURANCE…
- Insurance is included in your rental. Please carefully verify your requirements, responsibilities and coverage
- Motorcycle rental is typically considered an exotic rental and as such most credit card company’s and/or insurance company’s do not transfer coverage the same way as they do with a normal car rental, therefore you may NOT be covered. PLEASE check with your credit company and/or insurance company for proper coverage as you are 100% responsible for ALL damage to the motorcycle.
- You are directly responsible for the deductible of $2,500.00 and any damages or theft not covered by the insurance company
PRE PAID FUEL & OIL OPTION…
$25.00 Flat Rate Re-Fuel & Oil option
Pre Pay your rental on return re-fuel and oil for the motorcycle. A charge of $25.00 will apply if this option is not purchased and the motorcycle is not returned FULL and/or requires ANY refueling or toping off of the fuel or oil.
